I've been drinking and eating here off and on for roughly eighteen years. My parents live close so every time I visited I've ended up here having a pint or two or a meal with the family. As a pub I can't fault it . Good booze good food , all at reasonable prices. It's definitely a locals pub with added visitors. I've always had a friendly welcome and by the second day the staff know what you drink. All in all well recommended.

Well. I guess you can say we are regulars now. Eat here at least once if not twice a week. Not purely because it's great value, which it is. But the food served is as good if not better than many restaurants in the area.
Service is always with a smile and some cheeky banter. Just love it here. Always made to feel welcome.

Takes chip and pin. Allows dogs. Good value for money food- standard pub fare. Wide beer selection. Excellent locals pub, all welcome. Quick service. Been visiting here for around 16 years on and off.

I love this pub it's a nice atmosphere food has always been good for me with a decent sized menu, scattered throughout the pub are really comfortable tables and chairs that might as well be sofas which is nicer than the standard wooden affair. They sell something called chip tanks at the bar which are enjoyable make sure to ask about them as they're not on the menu. Try book a comfy seat or the seat near the fireplace. The service is usually quick but not too quick (which would indicate poor microwave food) prices very reasonable expect a meal for two at £30 or less.

Enjoyed visiting here. Cross between a pub and a restaurant. Gets busy so plenty of noise but a friendly atmosphere. Food is good As is the menu. Prices reasonable. Free and plentyful parking. Can also cater for private functions.
