A fabulous place to visit whatever the weather. Central Cardiff location, so much to explore and learn, will keep kids and adults busy and entertained for hours. Fascinating.
Fun! As soon as I came in I was given a small iPhone to explore the museum with a voice over explaining all the sections. At the end I was here for around 45 mins I had a better understanding of Cardiff, its story, traditions and culture. Fun way for tourists to get a quick, fun and accurate timeline on the city
Cute little museum. Very informative. There are some really interesting video stories from local characters that you can watch. Museum is FREE and it has a cafe upstairs with table service and helpful staff. There is some games and activities for them. You can find brief history of Cardiff.
It's a lovely old museum. Used as a film location and stand-in for multiple grand buildings by BBC Wales on a regular basis, and has one of the best collections of big name artists outside the better known UK galleries.
Easy to get to. Interesting history.
