We bought our home through Camden Bus seven years ago. We were very impressed back then with the excellent levels of service and support. When it came to selling, we tried with an online estate agent who takes payment upfront. It was a disaster they didn’t even achieve one viewing! After two months their only suggestion was to sell our flat at auction with no offer of a refund. At that point we decided to go to Camden Bus. As my brother in law told me at the time, a professional estate agent. The contrast was unbelievable. Gary's skill of marketing the property was evident almost immediately. Far from patronising us on how we are performing we could not believe the efforts Gary was going to in finding viewers. He knows the Camden market like nobody else and he is the right person to negotiate a purchase/sale for you. We were assured that we would only pay if we sell and that we can find another estate agent if he doesn’t perform. We felt in safe hands with Camden Bus. They worked really hard for us in finding people to view our property. Once he found a buyer, Gary was always a good person to go to gauge how the transaction was progressing, helping keep both sides on track. Apart from that we had a good rapport with Gary as he is always so helpful. Gary is very knowledgeable and understands the property market with great connections. This skill and expertise has helped us in both our purchase first time round and again on our sale recently. In short, skill, expertise, finesse and local knowledge serving those who would like to sell/buy through the finest estate agent in the greatest of London boroughs!
Gary did a fantastic job selling our house and was a pleasure to work with. We wanted to realise a good price and sell quickly we’d found our next house and wanted to move in time for schools. Gary delivered on both price and speed! And what was especially refreshing is that Gary was motivated not just to make a transaction happen but also by the end result of making both us and our buyer happy with with our new homes.
We are so excited to be moving into our new home thanks to Gary at Camden Bus. Gary knows the area so well and we fell in love with the house as soon as we saw it. Gary was wonderful to deal with and made the whole process smooth and stress free.
Gary is one of the most professional and ethical estate agents I've had the pleasure to work with. I spoke to Gary 14 years ago in relation to the sale of my flat in Camden. At the time I didn't decide to sell it in the end, but 14 years later in 2024, I decided it was the right time as it was time to upgrade from a studio to a 1-bed. Gary was my chosen estate agent after all these years owing to the professionalism, knowledge, and mannerism he demonstrated all these years ago. I wish Gary and Camden Bus more success going forward, and I look forward to working with him on a purchase in the near-future.
I was impressed with Gary Lazarus’s experience, local knowledge and ability to enthuse about my flat, and was delighted that my flat sold for significantly above asking price. At one stage I felt under some pressure from Gary to accept an early offer at full asking price, but I am glad that I decided to wait for a few more viewings, given the eventual outcome. Apart from that short period of tension, communication with Gary was easy, and he was also extremely helpful and generous in advising on any small issues that arose. I particularly liked the way that he handled all viewings himself; this is quite different from other larger firms where viewings are handled by multiple agents, some of them often quite inexperienced. I would certainly recommend Gary.
I recommend Camden Bus highly and would always choose to work with Gary. Over the last twenty years, Gary has helped me to buy and sell both flats that I have lived in. He has longstanding expertise about the area and the market and gives excellent advice. He is very professional, responsive, helpful and friendly throughout the process and gives great support to buyers and sellers. For me, Camden Bus is the go-to estate agent in the Camden area.
This was my first property and I couldn't ask for a better agency to deal with. Gary and The Camden bus agents were very helpful and honest throughout the whole process. I also bonded with Gary on our mutual love of Brazilian music. Look forward to working with them again soon
While I’m aware Camden Bus has a strong reputation as an agent, this review is about the fact I rang for property value advice to appeal council tax banding. The kind man who answered gave 30 minutes of his time to talk through various properties not expecting anything, just offering expertise and advice. It was much more than I expected - many thanks.
We had the pleasure of purchasing our first home through Camden Bus/Gary. Excellent service, professional and honest, tailored and personal, and miles away from the aggressive selling techniques and nonchalance of the corporate agencies. We always encourage going local so we were also delighted to be working with a boutique local agency. Gary is an expert of the area and his knowledge was very insightful. Always available whenever we called and replied to all our queries and emails ever so promptly. Also advised and helped on technical matters beyond the purchase. Thanks Gary, looking forward to bump into you at the Sainsbury’s!
Highly recommend Gary at Camden Bus as an estate agent, we recently purchased a flat through him and he couldn’t have been more helpful in answering our questions and chasing anyone taking too long along the way!
