Story

We love trying new recipes in our constant quest to create fantastic new savouries, sandwiches, sweets, snacks, bread and rolls, salad pots or pasta pots to tantalise your taste buds.
We offer a wide range of hot or cold fillings to fill your delicious roll or sandwich. The cake shop also offers a fresh full English breakfast.
We are not just a shop on a High Street, we are part of the local scene. We make friends with the customers that we see every day. We are here for them… to provide bread, morning coffee, afternoon tea, conversation or a quiet break.

Have used the cake shop on a couple of occasions when staying in Bedford for our breakfast prior to travelling back to Devon. We love it, good choice of breakfast combinations and all freshly cooked and served with a smile. Its hard to resist not taking some lovely cakes for the journey home....

Had a lovely Christmas afternoon tea that I think I enjoy even more than a summer afternoon tea :-). Staff fantastic and can't fault the food, the taste and quality was exactly how you would want it and more. Couldn't finish it all so boxed up to take home and enjoying even more :-).

Lovely food, friendly service All sorts of hot things for lunch or breakfast as well as cold and cakes etc Come in here for my lunch break, nice and quiet (but not too quiet!) to sit and relax

Great little cafe and cake shop. Food is damn good, and quite a good selection of food, hot & cold staff very friendly and helpful. Great for a quick stop off, with the hospitality and warm service adds to the experience
