Absolutely wonderfull. Old style hearty home cooking. With the most amazing sweats for desert. And the staff just fits right into the picture of how shops used to be and made one feel just at home with a nice word for everybody. So for the locals a sure must to get up the energy not only for the Saturday morning DIY project but any time of the day the right thing to keep going. And for the travelers it is the best proof how good English home cooking really is. And this is meant exactly how I mean it. Thanks Mandy.

A Bedfordshire institution. Family run business with great attention to detail. This is where to get your cakes, doughnuts, clangers and chocolate toothpaste.
