I remember the place before the renovation.  It wasn't a particularly eye pleasing place.  But now it is very nice.  The food is great.  Cocktails are great and a great atmosphere.  Probably the nicest place in Aberdare. Great for an intimate setting or group meal. Serves food until 8. Great location in centre of town.

Best pub around by far. Friendly staff, food is incredible. Lovely atmosphere,  clean and tidy. Its what aberdare needed. I would recommend this pub to everyone. Keep up the good work. Superb.

Nice - the only thing that has put me off  is the fact the manager is sat opposite the bar on the few times we all have been in and is talking rotas etc with sitting staff ( maybe on breaks ) but while as a customer you are just left waiting -- sorry but that to me is not professional do it if you must at a back table and not in service ie lunch rush.
Sorry - otherwise food is nice the meat is amazing because it comes from Davies butcher opposite and they are a five star butcher so quality amazing shame the place doesn't say where they source because local is important !! And any customers can see how fresh it is.
