Well appointed rooms, comfortable, high king size beds, powerful shower, shower gel, shampoo etc supplied, big bath sheets, Freeview TV/Radio, capsule coffee maker, reading lights. Noisy plumbing, some squeaky and uneven floors, and really slightly too warm at night in March. Large breakfast choice, really good evening menu, huge steaks, fresh fish, interesting vegetarian. Very popular public bar, quiet and luxurious residents' lounge, stay up as late as you like. Jolly and attentive service. A really lovely hotel. You can't go wrong here.

Had dinner at The Bull. Good menu, not too many choices which I appreciated. Majority involved local fish, the Whitebait starter was pretty good. Service was efficient and friendly. Decent range of wines and real ale at the bar. Beaumaris is a lovely place even in the rain it has it's charm.

We booked into the Loft restaurant at the top of the Bull Inn and got the 5 course set menu - it was superb. The portions were perfect and the tastes were sublime. Great wine too. Not somewhere one might afford to go every weekend but definitely worth every penny for the quality of the dinner.

Beautiful place to stay, we had lovely room on the front above the front door. (Captain something?) This pub has got the right balance of keeping the original feel, while having modern convenience. We enjoyed the breakfast, not a massive meal, but very tasty and worth getting bed and breakfast together. Staff friendly enough. Didn’t have evening meal so can’t comment but would definitely recommend staying. Also we thought the soap in bathroom was so nice went to local shop and bought some.

Stayed for 1 night. The hotel staff were friendly (didn't really use the bar) and the room was clean (stayed in the Tony Weller room). The bed was comfy, and the shower decent, but the bath / shower was an odd shape and a little narrow for a bath and the shower screen could have done with being bigger as the shape of the bath allows a lot of shower spray onto the floor. We got breakfast in bed which was very tasty, but without butter and sauces and the full Welsh breakfast was only small (think kids portion). There is very limited car parking at the hotel but there is a large paid for council parking area 5 mins walk away that the hotel recommends and sounds good at £4 for a day, but there is a barrier on entry and if you leave for a trip out it can cost another £4 to park again. Apart from these niggles it is a nice place to stay.
