Lovely setting and nice staff.  The fish and chips were unashamedly liliputian and extremely overpriced.  I've never felt violated by a pricing structure before but there's a first time for everything.

I trudged through the snow with the family to get to the Bruce Inn. Really looking forward to a warm and cosy lunch in a traditional country pub. Ended up sitting in the cold with one of the most overpriced and tasteless fish and chips that would barely pass as a frozen kid's meal. Toilets in need of an overhaul, smelly, cubicle door kicked in at the bottom and wouldn't close/lock. Really disappointed and miffed that we spent hard earned holiday money there. Sorry but wouldn't recommend.
