Have been there with a group of very nice people after a hike in the Ochills. The staff was incompetent and generally rude to us. We ordered one portion of chips, took them an hour and a half to make them.

i personally didn't stay in this hotel but family friends did when they up for a funeral.I am very unhappy as my friends were very disappointed with the place. My friends stayed the first weekend in august breakfast was a joke never got any 1 morning and it was flung together the next day. They felt very uncomfortable as the owner of the hotel was drunk the full time they were there and was very disrespectful while drunk. Food wasn't exactly great, thought about complaining to the manageress but she didn't care much at all about her appearance so why would she care about the food. She certainly didn't represent the pub at all as you would mistake her for a punter. Rooms were a disgrace think the cleaner must have took that weekend off. would never recommend this place even if i was desperate. PLEASE BEWARE place is a shambles.

Been here twice for a meal and found it to be really nice. If you can blend in with the very lower classes you might even enjoy a drink at the bar or a game of pool. Not sure anyone would like the toilets though however depraved they might be.

After a day walking in the Ochils it seemed a great idea to hit the pub as we came off the hills. The idea was good the choice of location was not! We were in and had ordered our drinks before we fully appreciated how inebriated some of the locals were - language was appalling and the response from the barmaid regarding my comments about the unwanted attention my wife was receiving from the village idiot was 'Aye that's Tubbs for you - he can be a bit of a nuisance!' Wrong answer! Pubs should keep their drinkers under control but this pub obviously doesn't care. We left after checking out the toilets - another mistake!
