Have been here previously but not for a few years and now always had a good experience. However I came in on Saturday for brunch with my nibbling, they had a wonderful time and we both enjoyed the food. The staff were lovely and treated them like an adult which was really lovely and made them feel special. I ordered the eggs royale and it was fantastic, the eggs were perfectly poached and the salmon was wonderful. My nibbling really enjoyed the pancakes, and loved the salted caramel shake I would definitely recommend visiting and will definitely be coming back again
There was an issue at the beginning when we were put on a waiting list and were told it would be 10-15 minutes and would get a text when ready. However, no text and when we went back to question how much longer, we were told they thought we were messaged already. Tried to order waffles but they had run out which I appreciate could happen but after the issue with the wait, made it worse. The hash disco flavours were really good but the potatoes were lukewarm and tasted like they were cooked hours earlier and were simply reheated. Only saving grace was the pancakes, which were delicious.
Worst breakfast ever We ordered Deliveroo family breakfast from this company and the toasted bread was burnt and left a bad taste in our mouths. The eggs and sausages were not cooked properly. We will not order breakfast from here anymore.
Great little cafe bar with a nice atmosphere. Very welcoming staff and our server Beth could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent and top quality and well worth the price.Food: 5/5
So delicious, eveything was so fresh and tasty ... Will be back! Also the staff were so friendly and the service was brilliant.
After hearing so many good things about the breakfast club we decided to visit the branch at Box park Croydon. Didn't have to queue at all and was shown to our table promptly. I was looking forward to having some Mac and cheese, however they didn't have any on the day we visited so instead I ordered the cornflake chicken and waffle with a vanilla latte. I'd never tried the chicken and waffle combination before so was pleasantly surprised. The maple gravy complimented the chicken and waffle well. Portion sizes are pretty generous and filling. For dessert we decided to go for dessert sized raspberry malt pancakes. I like the fact that they offer full and dessert size stacks. I was expecting a sweet and tarte taste combination. However, I have to say they were underwhelming, and didn't taste of anything. Was pretty disappointed with it. The staff were pleasant and tentative throughout the visit and complied with covid 19 rules. Overall I enjoyed my visit to The Breakfast Club Croydon was enjoyable. Food was tasty, if I was to visit again I definitely want to try some of the other pancake options.
Better than expected! Went for a weekday brunch/treat, didn't need to book but would suggest you check b4 going. The staff are quick and so friendly, full English 6 pieces and 4 hot drinks cost around £40 for 2 people - not the cheapest but worth it. Something for everyone on the menu which has a good selection. They're happy to change bacon for sausage or hash for mushrooms etc without quibble, and eggs happily cooked to specification. The food was really fresh and very good sized portions. However there is limited availability of basic cold drinks and the choice is a bit over priced, there are no toilets inside so you have to walk a few minutes to the main pop up ones which isn't ideal, and although wheelchair accessible the layout could be tricky to manoeuvre around as the are coloums/pillars inside. Despite being busy its not cramped, and I didnt feel rushed at all. Child friendly and possibly ok to leave buggies in view/outside. Limited paid parking nearby but easily accessible by train, tram, ample buses and a nice walk to/from the town centre. Even in the recent cold blitz it was cosy and warm inside so big coats are not needed!
Brilliant location and has own indoor seating. Brunch was amazing and the service top notch! We forgot we were in Croydon Boxpark for a couple of hours! Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Want to give a massive well done to the team working Sunday 30th October. Kept smiling despite it being very busy and potentially short staffed. Efficient and hard working. Food was absolutely fantastic but seeing the FOH team pull together and not let sickness effect service deserves some recognition. Will be back
Well worth searching out. I had a: Spicy Chickpea Florentine v Spiced chickpeas & spinach, rich yolk poached eggs & harissa hollandaise on a toasted English muffin ...which had a chickpea and harissa based mid later between the muffin and egg there was also a dash of spinach too. It made a delicious and tasty start to a very long day and kept me going well. I do love an excuse to eat spices for breakfast. Super coffee accompanied by slick service by gentle and friendly staff. I will definitely be going back there for breakfast, lunch or dinner when I'm in the area again.
