Plenty of books of all kinds, especially the classic literature section. Lots of local knowledge as well which is great! Staff were super friendly, even though they were closing soon! Would recommend this store highly!
Was a great second hand book shop but it appears to be closed. Seems to be selling antiques and collectibles now.
Do not be put off by the small frontage - there is a lot more inside than you would first think. Whatever your interests, you will most likely find it in here. Prices are excellent for the quality of the books you will find. Boats, trains, planes, cars, history, military, or just want a novel to pass the time. You are bound to find something here.
THE best stocked bookshop on the North-Coast, packed full with novels of all genres, as well as a great classics section. My personal go-to is plays/poetry and religious texts, and this shop has been the only provider of these kinds of volumes, and beautiful ones at that. Also worth a browse through the local interest sections for local historical society pamphlets, small print studies, and local novelists and poets that have begun to fade from the eyes and ears of literary folk. Behind the owner's desk is an array of beautiful antiques and modern first editions which are worth a browse. Keep up the good work!
My favourite bookshop, hands down. Excellent selection for just about anyone. Remarkably well kept and organized. Does turn ins and trades. My favourite shelf is the paranormal/unexplained section, the like of which you tend to have to go online for. Also has thrillers, what I refer to as "pastel romances", poetry, religion, scifi/fantasy, military history, natural history, Irish history and a fairly broad children's section. Has a broad array of rare collectibles including Folio editions, first editions and some more obscure items. Also stocks some interesting DVDs. Love the decoration, it feels very lived in and homey. Proprietor is a far cry from the surly, archetypal Bernard Black bookstore owner. Forever willing to go the extra mile. Whether you want a throwaway paperback for a weekend or something a bit more specific, this place can sort you out.
Highly recommend this book shop if your in Portrush. Brilliant selection at really good prices and the owner is so helpful
All you need and more and as for the staff how learned they are when it comes to knowledge of literature Especially Roe he is as charming as the shop It's a must see and a must read
Fantastic book store!! So many great books at brilliant prices. Highly recommend this book shop. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Tiny store with a lot of books, from modern novels to history books, classic plays and more. Friendly owner and cheap second-hand books.
Great book shop owner has a great knowledge of books and prices are very good. Great place for a chat .
