The Book Cafe

No wonder why people are queuing. This place can get quite crowded. I'm happy we decided to come back and we had the chance to try their food. Everything was tasty, flavorful try the chicken wings and at reasonable price. You can also suggest your own sandwich. This place is a fantastic place for lunch, I would recommend.Food: 5/5

Food was really tasty, came out quickly and coffee was lovely. Had a great selection of fresh desserts, cakes and pies. The decor in the cafe is gorgeous, very homely feel. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend for a nice lunch in heart of Gorey.Food: 5/5

I would love to visit the place anytime for a delicious brunch with hit served coffee . You get vegan options too .. the best part is that if asked for additional toppings like spinach along with eggs. They generously add those and serve you with love . The staff serving and receiving the order are too good and warm to speak and take your suggestions without any extra penny apart from the statdard ones .. I would always recommend this place for a good brunch and break fast .. Ate here due to staying locally & it came recommended. We got served quickly. All our food was delicious. Definitely would recommend.

Really like this place. Stopped in for a scone and coffee. I'm new to the area and recently I've tried a few cafes but the book cafe feels the most comfortable by far. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and food is fresh with generous portions.Food: 5/5

Excellent Breakfast. As I stood at the please wait to be seated sign for nine minutes I couldn't help wonder about the award on the wall for outstanding service, as they left me out, standing, without so much as a nod. The lady who showed me to my table put the menu on it and walked away without a word. Just turned and walked. My breakfast and coffee were delivered in absolute silence, and no one checked back since. Cafe is beautiful, breakfast was good. And for a "The Book Cafe " there isn't a single book in sight...

Had the beef and Guinness casserole, followed by Berry crumble and custard. Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and clean bright venue. Absolutely recommended Food: 5/5
