Took the family while staying at the nearby Hilton. Food was excellent. We live in Leeds so definitely know a good curry. Glad we didn't go back into town for the usual fish and chips or junk food.
This is a nice small, friendly Indian restaurant, so we were surprised when they could take a party of 14, one wet friday evening. The staff made us feel welcome and looked after us, going out of their way to help. The food, atmosphere and restaurant were outstanding. A real hidden gem.
Service was ok, price was extortionate. The portions did not reflect the price, nor did the atmosphere decor very tired. Portion of fried rice was over £3. Been there a few times before and noticed has had change of ownership. Was absolutely great under old ownership, dropped in quality with new. Will not go again and now realise why restaurant was empty on a saturday night.
Great food and service if you don't mind the dated ambience. Recommend it.
Nice little restaurant off the main promenade, nice fresh food, reasonably priced, would recommend
