Their was a customer at the wee take away windie waiting on a big order & I waited for about 8mins, just to get a coffee SO I just went into the restaurant entrance & got one right away to carry out BUT first of all i couldn't believe the place was 5yrs old, it was spotless, even the toilets It looked brand new as u can see from the photos. I noticed that the spire on top of the building was skew - wiff or ascue [if that helps] & the coffee was presented in a sustainable, eco friendly ridged carboard mug & it tasted very nice & most importantly it was hot & they also sell award winning equis ice cream, but its not as good as the esplanade cafe in Greenock.
Scrumptious food, fast friendly service, magnificent view and immaculate.
Just called in for a latte and slice of cake while out walking. The day was beautiful so I sat outside once I had ordered and it was brought out to me. The place was very busy but the staff were calm and just got everyone served. The coffee was piping hot, the cake delicious and the views lovely.
Absolutely love this coffee shop, especially when you get to sit outside on a beautifully sunny day. Was really impressed with the coffee, and the cakes were divine. Was also very impressed with their gluten free selection!
This place is amazing. A hidden treasure in the west of Scotland. If you are visiting the area you MUST go here. The owner is a stunning guy and a great chef. We turned up 5 minutes before they stopped serving breakfast and he was incredibly accommodating. Making recommendations, adapting meals, adding in items and throwing in items for free. The food was delicious. Best black pudding ever apparently I had the Morton roll with egg, mushrooms and tattie scone , also great Blaggis. Cakes are scrumptious too. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. Plus a stonking coastal view. A proper 5 star treat.
Exceeded expectations. Looked like a very pleasant cafe from the putsode but even better, service, quality of food and atmosphere. Very good.Food: 5/5
One of the best places in Dunoon for coffee and a snack, or a full meal. Friendly staff, fair prices. My favourite carrot cake from the whole area. Lovely view as it's right above the West Bay
Lovely cafe in an amazing location with great views. Great selection of home made cakes and good value for money.Food: 5/5
Absolutely lovely place. Nice view, nice atmosphere, food & coffee is good and the staff is great. Helen & Wilson literally fed us and our wee one during our stay in Dunoon! Thanks guys
Great location and it was a lovely day when we last went. Very busy and the kitchen was under pressure with food coming out slow. We weren't in any hurry but it was too slow. Great service still despite the crowds. Surprised that they don't open as a restaurant in the evening as the location screams out for something nice. Maybe a fish restaurant by night??
