Amazing food to be fair, definitely rating for the food. Unfortunately for my tastes the venue let me down a little with a complete lack of atmosphere and below average service. Music was on a loop 80s songs that lasted around 80-90 minutes so before we left we could tell the next song. More worryingly we ordered our drinks and they sat on the bar for five minutes whilst the young girl took a telephone order, I think she was on her own at that point, but still. Then when I finished that drink I waited another ten minutes to be asked if I wanted another. Nothing horrific but a disappointing level of service which might be due to being in at early tea time and they only had one server in. To reiterate, food was amazing and I would definitely go back for more.
Sunday Dinner - Various meat dinners. Pros - large size dinner at a great price, food was nice and presented well. nice deserts presented well. Cons - yorkshire puddings were tough on the day we arrived. Struggled to cut them up. The cheese sauce they use on the veg was more like nacho cheese. Would recommend using a more creamy sauce for a dinner. The decor isnt the best very cafe vibe inside. Although still clean. Overall it was a great experience just a few small issues. Would visit again 100%. 3 large dinners, 3 small kids dinners and 6 desserts. 1 lemonade 3 fruit shoots all for £71.00. Worth the money as i thought it was fairly cheap.
Been meaning to go for years and am glad we did, food was gorgeous I got garlic mushroom starter with Stilton and it was a really big portion and I chose chicken supreme with salad and potatoes. Really good quality produce and the prices were really good. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely come back and recommend to others to go
Steak night. Wednesday Sirloin steak, fries, coleslaw, tomato, mushrooms & Diane sauce plus a glass of either white or red vino Staff friendly would recommend booking Will be back 12.02.22 Prawn Cocktail, Steak pie, chips & vegetables 01.05.23 Went for Sunday lunch. Didn't enjoy as much as evening meals. Yorkshire pudding hard, roast potatoes cold, cauliflower in a cheese sauce seemed like it had been warmed up & put under the grill Not the best Sunday lunch Won't stop we going on a night time for a meal
Had two beautiful meals 10/10 complement to the chef, staff very friendly and surroundings decor very nice Been back for another meal and very satisfied, happy with food and service
Haven't been for a long time but doesn't appear to have changed. Booked a table and glad we did as was quite busy, do a good early evening menu. We ordered from normal menu, 2 courses, meal was excellent, tasty and lots of it. Staff friendly and professional. We'll be back.
5 star as usual . Always happy when been to the bells... food amazing ... staff can't do enough very friendly. Nice stocked bar .def recommend x
Went for Christmas dinner menu starter was supposed to be smoked salmon & crayfish cocktail ! came out smoked salmon & prawns. Main course roast sirloin of beef beef was tough ,roast potatoes came out a bag from freezer and the rest of the veg was cold will not be going there again,do not recommend this as an eating place at all18160.00 pounds wasted!
Really nice food. The size of the pudding for the price was a little disappointing however it was more filling then we thought so in hindsight not so bad! Great staff, would visit again!
