Have passed by here for years and not found time to stop. Made time today and had an amazing birthday meal. Curry goat was amazing, my wife's pork chop was enormous, tender and beautifully cooked. My son's steak gorgeous and apparently the cheeseburger was the best my daughter has ever had. Fantastic staff too, so friendly and happy to answer any queries. Great local beers too. Great to see a small local place so busy
Stayed at the Blacksmiths Arms last weekend and it was excellent. Local real ale at the bar, freshly made Jamaican food that was delicious. The room was clean, comfortable with a good en suite bathroom. Parking around the back of the pub. Super views of the local countryside from across the road.Food: 5/5
Great little spot I had been meaning to stop in for some time and finally did today. The food was impeccable, mainly Jamaican dishes with other typical pub grub, I had sirloin which was cooked to a perfect medium, my son had fish and chips the fish was super light and fluffy my friend had the goat curry. Suffice to say we were all very happy. Highly recommend this quirky little spot.
I had a fantastic 3 nights stay here - tried the pork curry first night,Sunday roastlamb & both were absolutely delicious - I highly recommend you stay here or visit for the amazing food - Thanks Jazz!!!Food: 5/5
We'd found the pub as part of a walking route, and am I glad we did! Fantastic food - I had a Jamaican goat curry and it was a perfect balance of heat and umami. Well kept Harvey's at a reasonable price and to cap it all lovely people running it. When we realised how easy it was to get to with frequent buses stopping outside the door and Cooksbridge train station just up the road, we promised ourselves we'd definitely be back
Phenomenal food I had the chicken and spinach curry - best I’ve ever had, friendly staff and great pub. I can’t wait to return!Food: 5/5

Excellent pub doing a fantastic normal Sunday roast and pub food with a Jamaican touch. Really tasty dishes and worth a visit for a different meal. The Jamaican jerk chicken roast is amazing, had an incredible Jamaican beef stew and the goat curry is great. Loved it.Service: 5/5
