The Birches Clinic

First 2 Female Drs I saw were dreadful...not interested at all.... pre Covid. I've only met 1 other...he was ok. Now no Diabetic nurse so I am looking for another Surgery that has. Doctors don't seem to have training for diabetes. Receptionists...Depends which one is there ! Needing some lessons in how to deal with patients.

Staff show little to no concern about wanting to listen to you regarding your issues. Can tell they want to just move on to the next person, what kind of GP practice is this? They don't want to hear you out, on multiple occasions this has happened, ridiculous

I have never had a problem. Ask my GP I have found to be a good service. Face to face with all staff; good. Kind and reassuring

Very rude staff no one cares anymore down there even the doctors no wonder people going to A&E doctor had no respect not even to sit & talk about a Any thing what's the point in writing in ask my gp app when half of things I want 2 talk about I turned up doctors never looked at my notes with me quickly once over then I pushed away for the next person. This Dr soe as no respect in any way for my dad or myself only 1 doctor to cover kesgrave to day what a joke

Awful! The doctors are the only reason im giving it a star. The receptionists are rude and instead of getting things done they're usually just behind the counter chatting.

Worst doctors surgery for getting appointments or repeat prescriptions, they don’t seem to value people’s mental health at all and this is twice now I’ve had to gone cold Turkey off my anti anxiety medication because I can’t get a request done by anyone. SHOCKING

This is the worst doctors practice I have ever had the misfortune of needing. Two of the doctors are nice, the others rude and dismissive. The older reception staff are incredibly rude and obstructive and seem to think that the public owe them a service instead of the other way around! Awful, awful place.

I had an appointment booked for today. I was seen on time and the nurse was just amazing. So calm, caring and really interested in me and my health. My check up was an important but very routine one. Despite a very very rude and impatient man infront of me, constantly ringing the bell to be let in, tapping his foot and looking at his watch, the staff working the reception area were also brilliant. I think we need to remember and celebrate these valuable, lovely, very hard working doctors, nurses, receptionists and all the other people involved with the running of this surgery, have had to keep working throughout this pandemic, despite no doubt, being pretty scared for their own health and safety. Keep up the wonderful work!!

askmyGP app was really easy to use and had a call back within an hour of the practice opening I’d submitted my request the night before. Went in to see a clinician called Kieron Godby who is an absolute credit to his profession! Birches has had some bad reviews in the past and I’ve had first hand poor experiences with this practice previously but this visit was a good one.

Rhe rudest receptionists ever. Over the years they have got worse and worse. Intrusive with questions know full well, 1 they can't help and, 2 they have no appointments. Unhelpful with medication enquiries and results enquiries. Having sat in the surgery and heard one shout about a ringing phone "just let it ring out" just about says it all.!!
