Flitwick Surgery

I was wondering whether I would be alone in my opinions on this surgery and it's reception staff. My God today I experienced some of the worst service I have ever received at this surgery or anywhere. Completely agree with other comments about the booking system which clearly doesn't work for a lot of 'normal' patients, aka - those with a full time life. The Doctors and Nuses are brilliant, when you get to see them! It's the reception staff that are so rude and if you slightly elevate your voice which is hard not to do, when trying to understand why for the 3rd day running there are no appointments left by 8:45am, when they open at 8:30am! It's fine for them to shout at you though and act in a non caring and nonchalant way. If the bubble they are in ever bursts I think the real world would be far too much for them #needarealitycheck

Shocking .............God help any poor soul trying to get an appointment here. I wonder how many people like me give up because its a waste of time then told they have weeks to live.... dramatic I know but I am sure this is going to happen if it has't already .........told to register somewhere else if unhappy ?????????????? I live in Flitwick I should be seen by doctor/nurse in Flitwick, call on day ? took 20 mins for phone to connect. This practice needs a kick up the arse you seriously need to look at your management any other employer would sack the lot of you. Had to give 1 star in order to post review.

New booking system is awful. I work away alot, How am I supposed to phone up at 8.30 to book an appointment for the same day then leave the site I'm working at which can be anywhere from Dorset to Liverpool to get back for my appointment!? Even if I'm working in the office on the odd occasion I have to go to Luton for 7am call at 8.30 and leave to drive to flitwick for my appointment only to drive back to work. If i could book in advance i could take the morning or afternoon off to get to my appointment Fine if you have no job or retired absolute worst idea ever for those of us that work!

Diabetic nurse very rude I lost 8 stone and I am 63 kilo now and she said I was obieast and need to loose weight

Never see a doctor at the time I've booked, regularly 15-20 mins late even when it's an early appointment. New policy of only booking appointments for the same day is ludicrous. Fine for the retired who can be in the phone at 08:30 snapping up all the appointments, but for those of us who work it is not practical to be on the phone at that time of the morning. Online appointments can also be made, but there are never any available. Receptionists are your standard Gate Keeper dragons who think they run the show. Flitwick is a growing town and this surgery is ill-equipped to meet the demands of its population.
