Couch to OK, is a local community wellbeing group on Bute. We meet weekly to encourage community exercise & participation in local litter picks. We approached this business last August for help designing and printing technical run t-shirts with our group logo on them. Since then the shop has stepped in to provide some free printouts & accessories and the staff group has been really positive and helpful when we need anything. Couch to OK want to give a huge & heartfelt THANK YOU for the recent donation of work gloves & hi-viz vests for our litter pick that took place in Port Bannatyne & Ardbeg on Sun 24th March. What a great initiative from a small business here on Bute.

After coming down the Serpentine into Rothesay, noticed the front wheel had a buckle. After a quick search this bike shop came up, went in and greeted by friendly staff.  Quick book in, after 30 mins I got a call to say the bike was ready to pickup.  Really good service, would visit again if I am back on Bute

I ordered a few items online from The Bike Shed... their website was easy to navigate. I was sent a confirmation email right away. Prior to this I msgd them on Facebook about shipping to the U.S. and Laura got back to me straight away. I was kept up to date right thru to shipping day. All the items were exactly as displayed on the website...very well made. I will shop here again and recommend them. Thanks Bike Shed!

Fishing tackle available which helped us carry on whilst staying on the island. Not a huge selection but good enough to pick up essentials. Thanks!

Just popped in on the off-chance as I was having problems withy bike chain guard. Despite being busy, there wasn't a problem, and it was fixed in 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. Recommended, quick and friendly.

Gave 1 star , due to feeling unwelcome in the shop, walked in was asked about my face mask but because I was medically exempt from wearing one I did not need to be required to wear it by government.  women insisted that I should be wearing a face visor instead.  Bare in mind even after I explained I suffered from anxiety which can cause claustrophobia and panic if someone feels restricted it's a problem,  clearly states this in the government rulings anyone with medical conditions that prevent someone from wearing one is free to continue to use services without feeling unwelcome and unchallenged. Unprofessional service and not understanding with there customer service skills. Ended up walking out and took my business elsewhere. It was the attitude that was the problem with how she said it aswel as this herself and the guy who was behind the counter wasn't even wearing facemasks themselves when I walked in.

Great local business. Used for embroidery for poloshirts for air cadets. David was very accomodating and helpful. We visit this shop everytime we are on the island.

Apparently they stopped having bikes for hire months ago, but it does not say so on their website. That didn't bother us so much, it was the man behind the desk possibly the owner who was abruptly rude and very unfriendly and unhelpful. No need to be so aggressive to customers.

Went in with my two children, bought a few bits for their bikes, we were met with a very friendly person behind the counter..... Love the new shop, its fab!

As always, got good service, advice and information from the owner. Worth a visit just to browse. Bought 4 good items.
