Fantastic company and comfortable surroundings. Service was great and staff were helpful and friendly. Great views of some historic structures near to the pub

Bertie,s is ok . Pub is lively and a bit loud at times .Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is basic but clean and tidy, bed is comfey linnin clean and fresh. Had a meal in the restaurant food was good and competitive price. Would go back. The pub car park backs on to the river Rhondda,Good view from the bridge

Cold food, expensive prices for food and drinks, no apologies when asked how food was and told them it was cold. No wonder the place is dead quiet on a Sunday lunchtime. Used to love the Bertie but now it's the last time I'll be there. They also used to offer some pub meals on a Sunday which was a nice option if you didn't fancy a roast. No such option today

The food was lovely but the chips were those skinny fries, which I felt were not really appropriate to have with Gammon or Steak. The chef and staff were lovely, food was hot, and the heating was on. Will definitely return in the future

I had a great evening here stayed overnight, nice comfy beds, clean rooms and the food was great and well priced. I went to the bar in the evening the staff were amazing and friendly. Will definitely be coming back thank you Bertie pub

Brilliant staff and brilliant food. Accommodation is what it is, and is very good value for money. A great base to visit other places in South Wales, by car, bus or train. The pub has various entertainment, which is great for all music lovers.

I have just been to the Bertie a warm and happy place a really hard working family every one with a smiling face I have never seen hard workers like these people in this bar the way they run this restaurant ahead of others by far If you travel in the Vallie's and need a place to stay this friendly lovely B and B is the place your head to lay Love you Bertie Listen people this a great experience good people that will do the best they can to make your stay memorable Good food, good prices. and very friendly staff. cannot wait to go back and see them again.

Kid friendly, delicious pub restaurant food with good portions. And social pleasant staff. Quiet environment with comfortable seating.

Very friendly pub. Ordered the steak it was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.
