Pleasantly surprised, stayed for work for 3 nights. Staff in restaurant excellent, food was good. Rooms are clean and bed was comfy. Only negative thing is the sound proofing not being great, but otherwise a great experience. Would stay again.
Menu has been redone and it is pretty awful. Had sea bass, nearly vomited. Chips were basically potatoes, did not resemble a chip at all. My husband had duck with stone cold mash on side.Very limited dessert menu. Not one chocolate option. Prices are very steep for their limited menu. This WAS an Italian restaurant, I'm guessing from menu choice it is no longer. On plus side, staff were very polite and swift. And the room is a very pleasant room to dine in. It's a shame as this used to be our favourite restaurant.
Good hotel in the middle of the town. Rooms and beds are good- you just hear everything that goes on in the corridor, so if you are trying to rest during the day or are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Would come back :Rooms: 4/5
Massively inflated price for match day £169 in comparison to tonight £75 wouldn’t have been too bad if we’d have actually got some sleep. The hotel is opposite a kebab house which is open until 4.30am reception told me 2am. Asked to switch rooms told they were fully booked and offered a complimentary breakfast. Needless to say we’ve had no sleep and a mediocre cooked breakfast. The room had been recently decorated, so recently you could smell the paint. Obviously unable to open the windows due to the noise below. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not!
A high standard of cuisine at a good price. The decor is a little bit of the Mediterranean in the heart of Wales. Free parking on the street out of business hours.
Very nice and clean place rooms absolutely lush massive bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle ironing board and iron ladies air drier food beautiful and reasonably cheap staff very friendly indeed recommend will definitely go back there Rooms: Superb Nearby activities: Plenty of offer kebab hse directly opposite for in the evening Safety: Well run hotel with night security Walkability: Very close to everything Food & drinks: One word superb
Utterly unexpected in the heart of Pontypridd, the staff, food and rooms were perfectly lovely and far exceeded anticipation. The room and bed were clean, comfortable and spacious. We made the excellent choice to have supper in the restaurant as well. I appreciated a hearty option for breakfast, eggs Florentino instead of the usual variations on full English .
Popped in for a drink on a couple of occasions, both on Saturdays. Clean pleasant surroundings, pleasant welcoming staff, but unfortunately lacks atmosphere. Mainly due to the fact that Ponty is quiet these days
Went for lunch the food was so tasty beautiful fish and chunky chips and was reasonably priced, and the staff was so accomodating and friendly .The atmosphere is so relaxed and the decor inside is beautiful. Went with friends we will be going back. Walkability: This is in the centre of pontypridd and has a lovely indoor Market selling fresh produce.
A really nice restaurant with relaxed atmosphere. Lovely food and great service. We had calamari, burgers and steak and it was all really good.Service: 5/5
