The property is in a quiet residential area a few miles from Manchester Airport. It is decorated nicely throughout loved the floor tiles in reception and in the restaurant. Parking is available. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with comfortable bed and pillows and was spotlessly clean. There were tea & coffee making facilities in the room, complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Our stay coincided with hot weather. There was a fan in the room, but it was not very effective. A tower fan or fan that oscillates would perhaps be better. We had dinner in the pub downstairs recommend to make a reservation as it was full when we left. There was a good menu selection, including vegetarian options. Service was prompt and the food was good. Good breakfast with hot and cold items and two types of dairy free milk.
We were staying down the road and even though we had walked past on other occasions this time we popped in and loved it. Unable to check in to our accommodation we walked down and sat outside enjoying a couple of bar snacks and a couple of drinks. The interior is lovely and very welcoming. Took a look at the menu and decided to book a table for that evening. Our food was lovely and the service in the restaurant excellent. Our son lives in Sale and although he was aware of the Belmore had never visited so we booked again for 4 and returned for a third time. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening and won't hesitate in visiting again. The food is classic pub food with a little twist, varied and very tasty. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a large outside patio area, perfect for summer evenings. Plenty of off road parking... as it's a hotel as well, can get busy but parking around the area is easy to find. Food & drinks: Excellent choice
As soon as we walked in, the hospitality was wondrous. The staff offered us food and extra snacks as I had 2 kids with me. He gave us the keycard to room 1 and as the bed wasn’t large enough for the three of us, they decided to give us a spare bed with a duvet, blanket and pillow. They made sure we were safe and comfortable before leaving us be. The breakfast is a whole new story of its own. The vast variety of food offered for breakfast was outstanding. Thanks to the chef. Overall I really enjoyed the stay at the Belmore and I recommend this to anyone under any circumstances. Thanks for all the staff
Such a fantastic place to stay, booked our room Months before but the Manager Dave and Mo remembered me speaking to them about a family room with two single beds would be needed as my nephew was very tall. On arrival the reception said my manager mentioned you need two single beds but we haven’t any available in a family room only a sofa bed, so they gave us a complementary room for my two 15 year olds. Not very often you would see this. Also, we had some cheese and crackers asked for more crackers - nothing was a problem they gave anything we needed. So obliging,I didn’t want to leave.
We had a fantastic stay for a family get together. The staff, and particularly Mo, did so much to look after us and help us enjoy our time there. Food was delicous, great service, and the rooms were lovely. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Fabulous setting and rooms. Parking on site. Food menu in the bar/restaurant offers a huge variety of dishes. Service was great. Breakfast was amazing too, so many choices available. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was extremely well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. For any pokemon goers there is a spin site there too All in all fabulous place to stay
I stay away for work most week nights an have experienced highs and lows around Wales, the South West and North West. I can’t remember another hotel exceeding my expectations the way The Belmore has. Every member of staff was friendly and courteous. Every meal was exquisite. The room was clean and well presented and equipped. If I was being picky the room was a little warm and I always love a fridge but I’ll remember the Belmore for all the right reasons. What an amazing team and awesome food
In this case came in for a meal and were impressed by the considerable improvements - it now has a great 'feel' inside and out - we ate on the verandah. Recommend their cheese and onion pie with a mild sauce which goes well with the ingredients. Delicious. Service was prompt and fairly confident. The venue is great - although it's fairly close to a main road, it really doesn't feel it. Meal with good coffee was under £40 for two, which we reckoned pretty good for the quality. Only problem was smokers - tables were clearly marked as non smoking but there they were, in clouds of vape. Fortunate it was after we'd finished the food, but this does need sorting.
Perfect location for tatton flower show. Whilst the hotel decor is worn, it is clean and comfy and pretty. Staff were very friendly and the food was tasty and good value. Breakfast was also nice.Rooms: 4/5
We often go to restaurant at Belmore. It has plenty of car park spaces. The setting is lovely. If the weather is nice outdoor and especially the terrace is amazing to experience. It is child friendly. The food is really nice. Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. The indoor seating area is just gorgeous. On the best fish dishes I’ve ever eaten. We love it there and 100% recommend. Food & drinks: We often go to restaurant at Belmore. It has plenty of car park spaces. The setting is lovely.
