Visiting family in the area and booked for lunch. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The food was fabulous, very generous and really good value for money. We had a lovely lunch and were very well looked after. A shame I don't live nearer, I'd be a regular for sure but we'll definitely return next time we're visiting.
Lovely country pub, brilliant atmosphere both in the day and evening. Food is excellent -we have sampled most the menu during our house renovation! Living without a kitchen for 3 months. Sunday carvery, steaks and grills are just fabulous. Great value for money, always a warm welcome we feel lucky to have this in walking distance to us. Owners are fabulous and genuinely care about the well-being, and providing the best to their customers. Thank you
We called in for an evening meal, there was a few diners seated but there was plenty of room for the two of us,The service was very good the waitresse took our order and informed us there would be a little wait as the food was cooked fresh, I had the steak and ale pie which was one of the best I've tasted, great service and excellent quality will definitely be returning to try out more of the menu.
Went there with friends and had a great time. The staff were great. Welcoming and checking everything was OK. We had a great Sunday Carvery. Plenty of choice. Something for everyone. The place was clean and cosy and the food was great value too. Will be returning soon.
Lovely, friendly staff, very helpful. We ordered the sharing platter which was very delicious. Good value for money. Ordered the mixed grill rare steak and a sirloin steak dinner medium. Very well cooked and very tasty. Highly recommend
Really nice food. Decent Guinness. Nice and quiet too!
Came here many years ago and my daughter vomited, putting us off here. Today I enjoyed an Enville ale for £3.30. Pleasant staff and impressive environment. I was told that the food was home cooked. Look forward to returning and sampling home cooked meals. Plenty of space inside and outside with large car park
A very warm welcome when we arrived. Lovely, clean restaurant area. Offered a drink straightaway. Really good atmosphere. I had homemade stew and dumpling which was amazing and my husband had sirloin steak. It was cooked exactly how he asked it to be and was a fantastic cut of meat with no fat at all. Loved the Beehive and will definitely be back to try out the lunchtime menu. Best to book on a Sunday apparently as their carverys are very popular.
My elderly mom & dad are regulars here. Angie is so lovely and looks after them. The food is always great …a fab menu and very reasonable prices. It’s a cozy environment and home from home cooking and atmosphere. What’s not to like?
All we can say is Wow .... arrived at 1.30pm to have a family Christmas lunch to be told the chef had gone sick. Not an issue we'd travel far so was happy with the pub lunch menu available. When the manager was discussing what was available the temp chef had a poor attitude and her attitude was to close the kitchen.... minimal consideration to my family, poor customer service and a bad attitude ... would not return and left out of principle... went round the corner to the white hourse and we're so glad we did, welcoming and decided to move because if I lived in the local area the white horse is the place to be.
