My first visit to here. The service was very good. Attentive and accommodating. My pizza was hot and tasty.nnThe one criticism I have is how cold it is in there. The heaters were on but it was too cold.
Popped in for lunch today, service was friendly and efficient. We were offered a outside or inside seating. We chose to dine inside. The Menu I large with lots of options. The restaurant is lovely, clean and beautifully decorated.nSonakshi came out and spoke to us and helped us pick our options! The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It was a wonderful meal. We picked a few things off the specials and they were gorgeous!nAll in all a good meal, well priced and efficient service. Thank you!
Really really good pasta. The pizza's portion is big and quite decently priced. Pretty spacious and comfortable atmosphere and fast service.nnAlso really loved the raspberry sorbet.
BreakfastnStarted with a really friendly greeting we were the first ones in on a Sunday morning and great service throughout.nWe opted for a full breakfast, a Shakshuka and two smoothies. The full breakfast was cooked fresh and with high quality ingredients. Hubby is ultra fussy about breakfast and was really pleased to see that the sausage wasn't deep fried. The Shakshuka was full of flavour but the tomato sauce, despite being well flavoured and spiced, was a little runnier than I would have liked. The smoothies were a great option for those of us that don't want a hot drink with breakfast.nToilets were clean and really well maintainednOverall a great place to visit for breakfast with friendly and competent staff.
Ok, let's start with positives. The bill was vastly reduced without an argument. The drinks were cold. The one star on the food is because about 20% of the wood was as we had hoped. I can recommend the halloumi. By recommend I mean starter, main and possibly desert too.nThe negatives, well where do we start. A multi generational Christmas family gathering was shoe horned in to the bar area despite booking in October. The bar staff were completely unaware of service etiquette nor did they know their own menu. New management wants to train them up. I can see why, but perhaps do this before seating people there. After a very long wait, our group was told that the vegetarian cheese**all cheese is vegetarian isnt it???? Could not be added to the vegan pizza. Then after 20 minutes we were told it could be. The fish was like warm, the salmon starter unique and the saute potatoes had been cremated. The staff were clearly uncomfortable and by the end of the meal in denial. Ketchup dishes almost dropped on guests and zero eye contact.nI'm sure it's very nice if you are there with the family on a quiet day. Yesterday we just wanted to leave before driving back home to South Wales.
