Bit pricey but the food was lovely. Beautifully set out and lots of space between tables. Can not bet the service but you do pay for it in the service charge at the end. Good size potions
Was recommended this as a good restaurant in Amersham and certainly hits the spot. Went with three friends and had a Funghi Pizza see photo, A Mushroom Wellington see second photo and my meat-eating friends had Beef and Chicken dishes. Drinks wise two cokes and two beers. Food came within 10 minutes and they also do some decent Pipers crisps. Food went down well with all concerned and service was thorough yet measured. It's a chain pub but does an excellent job and has a great menu. I'm reminded of that South Park episode where some anti-corporate protesters discover that a chain... does better food than the local places! Definitely true here.
Went there for a christening where the upper park was hired. The place is lovely and the vibes is great.. The decor is amazing. Pizzas were exceptional and had a good selection from the menie. Will definitely be coming back
The Beech House is nice inside, good for a drink with friends. I came for dinner on Friday night, probably for one of the most disappointing and overpriced meals I've ever had Chicken wings for start which were good. The main then took ages to come out, it must've been about and hour by the time we got our mains. I ordered the Mac & Cheese off the special, £14, and what I got was the smallest plate of dry looking, lukewarm pasta with a measly amount of sauce and cheese on. It was so disappointing, especially after a long wait. I didn't think you could go too wrong with Mac&Cheese but apparently you can! Wouldn't go back for food.
We celebrated our daughters birthday at The Beech House, and had such a wonderful time! Lovely decor, good food, great service. Definitely recommend!
Nice enough place but bang average. Food is ok but a touch expensive. £5 for a tiny portion of fries is silly. Staff are friendly but very slow, have to chase for service. Range of drinks is decent, decor is nice.
Fantastic food but a bit slow with the service. We only had the table for an hour and a half. Had to ask to order drinks, then food, then ask for our mains after we'd finished our starters as we only had 30 mins left on the table. Staff were lovely and the food I couldn't finish I had in a takeaway box. Cocktails were also nice and not to expensive.
Fantastic food and friendly staff. Also dog friendly but this last visit there was no water down for the dog. They said they would bring ome over but it never came.
Food was lovely and good atmosphere - service was a little slow but overall very friendly and nice.
Great dog friendly restaurant. Service excellent, food great value and consistently good quality.
