The menu is gorgeous, a lot of choice for every taste. I had the pork belly and it was just amazing. I ordered the cheeseboard for dessert which was a very generous selection of cheeses, butter, crackers, chutney, grapes and celery. A perfect way to end the meal. The staff were all very friendly and the service was fast. The only negative was one of the main meals were brought out wrong but the staff quickly apologized and corrected the error.

Food was lovely and a great choice of menu. Service was slow to deliver food though and we had to ask for a plates to be cleared after quite a long time. Also would be good if they considered timing of children's meals. Our 2 year old nephew was desperate for beans on toast and it was the very last plate out and the beans were too hot so he had to wait even longer.

Lovely place.   Good if slightly exp menu.  It was v hot which was uncomfortable at times.  Very nice breakfast.

Everything was great. Good food and friendly staff. We did feel however that the service was very rushed. We were asked for drinks before we had even properly sat down. This would have been absolutely fine as prompt drinks are not a bad thing. But coupled with our mains coming out before our starter plates had been cleared made it feel very rushed. We have had lovely meals here before and couldnt fault anything else but I eat out for a treat or event so making the experience feel special is important. This felt a bit more like a very tasty meal but just another meal rather than somewhere to go for something a bit special

Beautiful hotel, and we stayed in a great, spacious executive room. We received a really friendly welcome when my husband and I stayed with our Staffy. The staff were all very helpful and it was so lovely to stay in such a great hotel that was so dog friendly. The food was excellent and the great selection of whiskey at the bar was well utilised by my husband. Will definitely stay again!
