We had to wait a long time for food, however it was super busy so that was to be expected! Food was very tasty when it did come, I especially recommend the gourmet sandwiches. Definitely book a table if you're looking to go on a weekend.

A more traditional style of pub in a small town. They offer good food and drink, and occasionally some live music.

Whilst on Holiday in nearby Exmoor Gate Lodges we decided to try The Bear for my daughters 20th Birthday meal. We couldn't have chosen anywhere better. A great typical local pub but one which served quality food. Great atmosphete, faboulous service and well cooked, well presented food and all at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Just enjoyed a wonderful meal at our friendly,  local pub. The winter ploughmans is a challenge in itself, with a plethora of tastes. So lucky to have this fine hostilery, with fantastic, homemade food on our doorstep.
