Really great place to visit with a motorhome as its free!. Parking stopover at the Battery Bar pub, bar owner is most welcoming too. Toilets and water at the boat rescue accommodation and please use the waste bins, there are plenty. No hassle from any of the bar drinkers late at night all safe, noise drops off at 12am which means quiet night. The views are superb!! the fish, Swans and Herons etc all add to a nice place. Sup boading and a little beach. Local shops and fish chips 2mins away. Excellent.
Beautiful location. The staff at Battery Bar were very friendly and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable. Plenty of carpark space and welcoming for motorhomes even overnight.
This is a great bar, the staff and owner are very friendly, the atmosphere is great, and there is live music on most weekends in the summer.
Spent the night in our campervan. Great spot nice and quiet where we parked. Bar was amazing everyone so friendly had some good chats with the locals Chinese take away Yum!!
Great bar with friendly, welcoming owners and staff. The views of the lough are incredibly beautiful. There's space for camping and parking. Camper vans also welcome. Highly recommend a visit.
This is a great spot. We stay at the weekends in our motorhome. The bar does great guinness and the staff and local customers are always very welcoming. We always eat out of the Chinese next door which is tasty. This is also a great swimming spot which attracts groups who seem to go in most days.
M/home stopover on Search4Sites. Fantastic setting, pub was functional for drinks & a very good Guinness. Food could be soon, Chinese next door, closed. Pub owner did offer to get Chinese, from 5 miles away, very thoughtful. Water available didn't test ehu, all were on the boatside. Thanks for letting us stay.
Nice place good for life music And camping
great spot for an overnight stay in the motorhome. Fantastic views over Lough Neigh. The pub doesn't do food but there's a Chinese next door.
Great stop off for the Motorhome on the shores of Lough Neagh.
