A great spot for a summer's afternoon or evening by the river. The service was good and the food came out quickly. There are lots of food options suited to all dietary needs. The decor is lovely inside and out- toilets included! It is best to book if you intend to dine on the weekend as it can get busy.
Beautiful pub on the Riverside of Bath. Note the toll bridge you may have to pay £1 to cross to get to it if coming from Bath. The pub was clean and tidy. Toilets were fine albeit a little dated and the odd light not working. Staff were enthusiastic and friendly in thier manner and told us what was out of stock accordingly before order. All the food today was of high quality. It is nicely decorated inside and out. Would recommend and visit again
This was our first visit to Bathampton Mill and definitely won’t be our last. We went on a Sunday at lunchtime and had the roast dinner, it was excellent. The portion sizes were decent & the food was really good. All the staff were really friendly & welcoming, we took our puppy along and she got lots of attention from everyone there. Can’t fault anything, we will look forward to coming back!!
The food was delicious especially the trio of roasts although the service was disappointing. The staff were was generally friendly although we were told we had to give up our table for another booking after less than 1 hour having only ordered mains and still had half our drinks left. We weren't offered another place inside to sit and had to sit outside in the cold waiting for a taxi and, after politely asking if they had any taxi numbers they recommend, we were told to "google it".
Strongly recommend it. Lizz was our waitress and she was very attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing, Tony was the chef and did an marvellous job. Came over the little ancient toll bridge to find this gem of a place. Absolutely spotless restaurant & toilets. All food being brought out looked amazing, huge portions. Ordered turkey dinners & oh my goodness see the attached picture, it was delicious, huge, best quality food. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. Very friendly and polite. In Bath anytime or passing through search this place out, not to be missed. Parking: Free if using the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect
I had quite possibly the best steak I've ever eaten at this pub this past weekend. 7oz Fillet Steak was absolutely sublime. Due to the restaurant being rather busy, I didnt have the opportunity to thank the Chef Mat who cooked my food. But I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is able to visit.
Great food,well presented & good portions. The pub has a relaxed feel about it & the staff were all great. It is situated in a beautiful area with a huge garden by the river.
We stopped in for an early evening meal on our way back to our hotel. We had the Dirty Burger and the Fish & Chips, both of which were excellent. The service was prompt and efficient and the server was absolutely lovely and engaging. We had a very pleasant meal and would return. Only downside seems to be that there were a number of areas taped off seemingly due to the need for repair and renovation. It didn’t effect us, but I suspect they have some work to do to bring some areas back up to standard.
Beautiful large pub, massive garden, right next to a lovely river. Also got lots of parking. The only downside is that the roads get very congested on sunny days there's a toll bridge nearby and the roads are very small. But would highly recommend as it's a really good pub.
