The oldest pub in Bath. A good sized pub with warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are happy and friendly, sport is shown on numerous tvs, yet there is still a lot of character about the pub. Worth popping your head for a pint or two.
a local feeling pub, friendly & steeped in the history of Bath. A part of the city's long heritage. Slightly off the beaten track so not packed with tourists but a stones throw to the main streets. A real gem.
Came in for a bite to eat and they are ALREADY serving christmas food! One of their festive specials is a bacon, brie and cranberry burger - I have to say it was rather delicious. Not quite enough to get me in the Christmas spirit just yet but certainly enough to satisfy my hunger!
This place should not be missed.... It just can't be beaten.... Hospitality, beverages, food... First class...
