Welcomed by Rick on arrival who ran through the basics, unfortunately we never got to say goodbye big thankyou for all your help. Excellent place to stay,would highly recommend, lovely renovation. Everything you need supplied for a stay and more. The views from the picnic table in the field are stunning. The entrance can be easily missed there is a sign on one side of the entrance, google maps takes you right to it. It's about a 300 yard drive down the track to the cottages. If you search Cae Bach on YouTube there is a slide video showing the renovation work carried out. Rooms: 2 bedrooms Double upstairs and twin room just off the living room Nearby activities: Good central location most places to visit less than half an hour away. Main town with an asda store 10 minutes away. Bigger tesco and Morrisons 20 minutes away in Holyhead. Noteworthy details: The heating is preset at 72f in living area bedrooms set at 70f. We found it ok others may find on the cool side. There is a functioning log burner in the living room however, Rick said it would get too hot if used so we never bothered.
We stayed at Sunset Cottage one of two cottages at The Barn, for a week with the grandchildren and had a wonderful holiday. Rick and Sally the Owners are very friendly and willing to stop for a chat and give advice on places to visit and the cottage was very well designed and maintained, in a lovely location. Very good! Richard the owner did his best to assure a wonderful stay for us. The premises are new and very well kept. The location is excellent for exploring the Isle of Anglesey.
Lovely barns with amazing sunsets! Really relaxing weekend away! Barn is stunning and beautifully renovated! Great weekend stay for us! Definately recommend the barn!!
