Luckily not busy so tables were cleanish and food was fast. Felt the food was a bit disappointing in size. Fish was dry. Burger was ok. Limited menu. Good for unlimited hot drinks. Lots of seating.
On certain quiter event days at the NEC there are less options available, each time I've been this pub is open and is ideal for simple pub grub. Serves quite quickly. Limited menu though if you're there for a few days.
It was alright. It was busy and there was ques to order, however the service was quick. The ordering app did not work so you had to que at the bar to order. The food was served quick and was normal Weatherspoon's food limited menu though. I don't remember any other Weatherspoon's being as expensive as this one. 2 main meals, 1 starter came to £28.97. So it was not like normal valve for money Weatherspoon's. Staff were friendly.
Despite it being very busy because of comic con the staff were helpful and friendly and service was in a timely manner.
Staff very friendly. Although the place was very busy as you would expect at an event the food came very quickly with no problems with the order. Can't complain about the service and quality of the food, only issues were with the wetherspoons app which meant I was stood in the queue rather sat with family enjoying the day.
Thought this would be a good option prior to attending an afternoon event having enjoyed several meals at other JD Weatherspoon establishment. This was like attending an airport venue back in the 90's. Service was good and speedy but the food was terrible. I dont think my burger saw an oven and certainly wasn't left in the microwave long enough chicken was Luke warm and the bun was not fresh. Chips tasted like flour and again Luke warm. To top it off I've paid less for a decent gourmet burger which included trimmings at other establishments. Clearly this venue is not bothered whether you attend again. Perhaps Tim Martin's should try it out as an undercover boss!
Never again over a hour wait for one breakfast and a coffee, the members of staff just say everyone's waiting the same we can't do anything, not just the service is terrible and the people the cleanliness is disgusting with plates on the floor and tables full of empty plates and peoples rubbish, could of notified by saying the wait on the food, brought the breakfast out no fried egg no bacon no mushrooms and paid nearly 15 pound for this
Nec weatherspoon 45 mins for breakfast Tables full of dishes not being move people having to put dishes on floor to get table Best about it place not even bizy £15 no bacon no tomatoes dry bread absolutely discussing shame on you
Fast service and polite staff, clean and spacious pub.
Worst bit of food I've come across in years... tables unattended to and dirty. Had to ask for the table to be clean even after sitting down at the table with visible plates and cups from previous people. Mate ... if its not a pint. Walk to a off-licence for a packet of crisp .
