Lady behind the bar seemed nice but refused to wear her mask properly even when questioned. It was dangling around her chin and not covering her nose. Would not recommend. Not COVID secure

Quiet, peaceful place, at least for a weekday lunchbite. Good food, good selection of beers, friendly staff. What more could you want? Recommended! 

Love this pub - classic, handsome and cosy, mid 1800s with associated history rat-baiting anyone?!. Cask ale always top-notch Fuller's pub with friendly staff. Do check out the last remaining? patch of wooden paving in the adjacent street and of course the nonconformist burial ground opposite Bunyan, Blake etc.

Best BA & Chips! But I am American so what do I know Also pretty cool that they Played the Beatles and had board games.

Had beers after cricket. I've always loved this pub: small and friendly, the pints are always fresh. Nice spaces inside and out the front across from the cemetery. A London gem!

This was always a friendly and welcoming old fashioned pub, and the way it's kept this whilst dealing with the COVID restrictions is brilliant.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I love the interior and the atmosphere of the place, although it's quite cramped on a busy day, not very spacious.

Lovely staff and quick to respond to serve you.
