Tom, Laura and the gang were kind enough to fit us in for a work team Xmas lunch at rather short notice this year. It was all handled very efficiently with food pre-ordered and a beautifully decorated table. The food was as good as ever, service was smart and the whole gig very reasonably priced; restaurant level experience for pub prices; who could argue with that in the City?
Laura made us feel so welcomed. The food was great and the drinks as well. Definitely will return on my next office trip here.
Had a great Friday night drink after work but discovered there were food and drink on our tab which were not ordered by us. Popped in a week later and Giuseppe kindly sorted out our bill and gave us a few rounds of drinks to make up for mistake. Restored my faith in fair business sense and would definitely return for food and drink again.
Our group had a great evening as usual, very cosy atmosphere and nice people too. Unfortunately we found out about permanent closure in near future, hope you reopen when the skyscrapers are done. Big thanks to Iva for update and making us feel comfortable .
Not the prettiest pub you'll ever visit but it's spacious with a good range of beer and plentiful staff so you don't wait ages. Great in summer because of the large area outside where you can drink.
Superb location and accessibility! The food and drinks are also impeccable.The various areas of the bar are well organised and comfortable. I enjoyed the enthusiastic and friendly service from Mihir and it was always a pleasure to chat with their staff ;
Tasty pub food. Conveniently located near the Moorgate Station. At Wednesday 1pm, they kindly provide a dedicated room for a Christian lunch time talk for workers around to listen to a short talk from the Bible while enjoying some nice food.
I loved the place and all because of the excellent service and kindness of the bartender Giuseppe Gullo, I would return without hesitation, I had an excellent time! Always try to have employees this good, it will bring you many benefits! Congratulations!!!
We stopped in for a few drinks and had fish&chips as well, our bartender Giuseppe was a hoot, great guy, loved his accent, !! Always cordial to us. Will certainly be back
Pepe is a an amazing barman. Always knows my order amd always very conversational and friendly, and what a great bunch of people working here. Always make you feel welcome, they remember your name and they remember what you drink. Tom, Byron, Peppe, Eva who remembers very big orders, Michelle, Iona and the other lovely people I have not learnt the name of yet are the best bar staff in Central London :
