A really lovely, very friendly little cafe. The staff were delightful and the community atmosphere was lovely.nnI know it's called The Ark, but one thing I wasn't expecting was it to be so Christian in theme. So just be aware of that in case bible passages on walls and tables and Jesus-music playing makes you feel uncomfortable.
Lovely to see this cafe open again after the Good news centre's closed down. Really friendly, lovely food. Cheerful happy atmosphere.nPossible suggestion, maybe put a door at the top of the stairs to keep the noise of the soft play area down when its busy.
Such a wonderful space for families with little ones.nRecently attended with a friend and our little ones. We used the sensory room before having lunch. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The sensory room was a lovely little space and the staff also let us look at the soft play which looked brilliant too but we didn’t have time to use.nWe both ordered lunch with drinks which was all delicious. They also had a nice garden space with a play area.nWill definitely return
I took my nephew here for a back to school treat and was very impressed. All staff members were lovely and very helpful as I hadn’t been before. I love the idea of the little shopping baskets for kids to carry what they choose. I would definitely be back for sure
Nice place. The staff were friendly & helpful. There was an unfortunate strange smell like ammonia when we arrived. Didn't try any food but drinks were good. Used the sensor room which was cosy & well equipped. Would go again.
