The Church’s mission is to show people the love and hope found in Jesus Christ.
The Church’s mission is to show people the love and hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe that no matter what circumstances you are facing and no matter what your past has been like, God loves you and is able to transform your life.
The Church offers many services. These include:
• The Maggie O’Neill Community Centre
− This centre is named after the person who founded the Church in 1984. Maggie had a heart for the community and so it was only fitting to name the centre in her honour. The centre is the home to many organisations whose aim it is to improve people’s lives by such things as: providing employability training, skills for life, CV writing classes, etc. For more information please visit the centre.
• New youth centre
− This will give young people the chance to come together and find fulfilling constructive activities to help guide and shape them to be responsible, employable citizens.
− New classrooms have recently been built on the property. These classrooms will host a number of different training opportunities, allowing individuals to gain valuable skills and experience, improving their employability and quality of life.
• Sunday School
− Every Sunday from 11am until 12:45pm the Church runs a Sunday School. The goal of the church Sunday school is to bring children into an understanding of Jesus Christ and His love for them.
− The school is a fun and friendly environment for the kids and all the teachers are CRB checked. The lessons are fun, interactive, and parents regularly say that their children look forward to Sunday school all week.
The church also has several other opportunities to be involved such as men’s and ladies meetings, home groups, community events, etc.
The church hosts these activities as we believe that we have a responsibility to reach out to our community. The Bible says in 1 John 4:11, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
Let God make an effect in your life today. God’s thoughts towards you are precious and strong enough to build upon. He cares for you in ways you have never imagined. People cannot help you with your problems, but God can.
Hope for the hurting.
