Turned up at 8 on Saturday to see the man city match. To be told they had called last orders! I assume they had a problem. But you should never assume. Must of been fun kicking the punters out who were already watching it!
Popular community pub.
Booked table for 6.30, table was not big enough for what we booked, was told only one chef in, waited over 1 hour 20 minutes for food, for it to be just warm. Then for track and trace details not taken or told about 1 ways system. Avoid at all cost.
Decent and nice food, shame about the location as its not really got an outside area to sit and chill
Compared to yesteryear this pub has now been tastefully decorated throughout with pleasant staff, a good selection of drinks and extensive menu. Has to be one of wallsend's top attractions.
Well organised since reopening. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Good pub to get food from just no onsite parking
