Pub was very busy when I went but the staff were lovely and very professional. Cosy pub with excellent food and excellent prices. Highly recommended!

Nice old (historic) pub, a little more expensive (don't expect 'spoons prices here) but with a wide selection of ales that are changed seasonally. There a lot of stone and wooden benches etc as it's a very old pub but it's still comfortable and warm. The lighting in the evening is very low and there was no music playing in the background when we went. A nice alternative to a chain pub but at a price.
