Just had our first takeaway from the Purple Garlic. Great food and good sized portions. A good curry should have lots of complex layers of taste, and as a guy who's eaten a lot of Indian food in his days, I can say that this restaurant does things correctly. If you are in the area, well worth a visit.
We had our first takeaway from Purple Garlic yesterday and it was delicious. Staff were friendly upon collection and our food was fresh and hot when we returned home to eat it. We will definitely return to Purple Garlic again.
Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Melton. Had another lovely meal last night. Excellent food and fantastic friendly service. Thank you.Food: 5/5

We have been a regular user of this restaurant, we will not be using it anymore, we had a table booked tonight, we arrived on time, the place was mobbed, no chance of getting our table, we order drinks twice whilst we waited, none came, no apologies for their mistake,we left, not impressedService: 1/5
Stumbled upon this nice clean restaurant - service is great and food is plentiful and tasty. Menu good - reasonably priced - two can get away with under £30

What a fabulous evening in a fabulous restaurant. One of nicest/tastiest curries I've ever eaten in 30 years. With lovely, personable customer service, very friendly and funny banter. Compliments to the chef and team
Really Good, Really Recommend Really really good evening. The atmosphere was quiet but with the soft chatter of the other guests. Neither my partner nor myself can fault the food and service. The food being timely and delicious, the service with care and consideration of the guests. I would honestly recommend this restaurant for a nice quiet evening or a group of people looking to enjoy themselves.
