Very nice pub. Shame the brewery who own it are not paying attention to fixing it up. I am sure once all the work is done to repair it the pub will attract more people in. The business will pick up a lot. I urge the brewery to get the work done promptly never mind penny pinching this work needs doing for the safety of customers, their employees and the people who live there. Fix this place up it is in a good setting and will attract.more people

Just had my Uncles funeral / wake here. We were well looked after and the service & buffet food was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly staff. A great send off for a great man. Big thanks to Clare & her team for looking after us. Highly recommended.

Have been here a few times but our latest visit was definitely the best one. Booked a table for a large family for little one's birthday, really have to give it up for Clare who made it painless and put in so much extra effort to make us happy. Very friendly lady who offered us table service due to party size, answered any questions about the meals and made sure we were always satisfied. Shame some of the other staff aren't as nice as Clare but she certainly made up for it. Their menu is changed fairly regularly now so there is some variance and food is to a good standard, some meals could possibly be improved but overall a great place.

Just been for a family get together (19 adults and 6 children). The food was very good and the service was excellent. The waitress who served us was super, very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend Amber Tavern. Well done!

lovely grills but wasnt happy will the band that came in constanly telling to more while was was eating are dinner by the door
