My first visit to the Alishan and it won't be my last.  Food hot, restaurant clean and tidy. First class service. Service quick even though it was a Saturday night. Definitely see you again. Thank you very much.

After 1 hr we had only been served the popadoms - which had to remind them about. The whole meal took almost 3 hrs and some main meals had been standing so long they had a skin on the top. We were told they were busy with take aways but we had booked our table of 8 so they should have been prepared. Food & service very below expected standard
