Wonderful restaurant. I haven't been to the hotel but from what I've heard it sounds quite good. The food is amazing (a bit pricy but nice every once in a while). The big field is great for kids to run around, and there are a few balls too. Waiting times for me have been average, but the staff are great.

This hotel was amazing, the best hotel I’ve stayed in the UK. The services was brilliant , from ordering food late at night , too having the taxi ordered for me in the morning. The food was excellent , the breakfast in-particular. The rooms were very spacious and clean and complementary drinks which was nice. I would Highly recommend if in Ipswich. The stay was expensive but well worth the service and hospitality.

Fantastic dining with a great selection on the menu. I visited with colleagues from work and spent a pleasant few hours sampling their extensive menu. Started with spiced whitebait which tasted so fresh and the spice was an unexpected twist. I had a sirloin steak for my entrée with a great pepper sauce - but note that it comes with fries so if you order fat chips you get two portions. Pudding was a banana sponge with toffee sauce, as good as it sounds. Stunning surroundings too.

Awesome. The listed building, with all its history as a residence, school, WW II Air squadon quarters and now a luxury hotel with restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms with a quaint touch. Superb food quality in the restaurant. No British wines though, which is a pity considering the now high quality of near Kent and Norfolk wines. Nice details like the enormous keys for the rooms, antique style, but with an RFID tag attached to do their job in a modern way.

I've visited for drinks many times but this was the first time I've stayed and it was a totally different experience. The room was large, with great amenities but the staff couldn't have been better. They all seemed really happy working for Milsoms and were very helpful and polite ....even after long shifts.
