I wish I'd taken a pic of all of the food because it was all top. This is "The Boss" burger... it was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. The drinks were great beautiful pint of Landlord, and the city centre prices were backed up by quality. The pub itself is beautiful. Gorgeous decor and a snug atmosphere with its smaller rooms. Never felt too crowded when it was busy, either - very well managed.
Really great pub in Leeds. A bit of a walk from the city center to cross the river but worth it. Super rustic, cozy pub with several rooms to choose from. Impressive cask options and the usual draft choices. The food stands out here. Really diverse and high quality menu. I couldn’t decide so I ordered a trio of bar snacks. All were top notch, fresh and delicious, and came with great sauces. Although super quiet on late March afternoon on a Monday, would still recommend a visit any time!
Excellent cask ale and other drinks. Food also excellent and service spot on and friendly. The pub is a gem from the past. Well worth a visit. I shall definitely return.Food: 5/5
Went here for an impromptu dinner recently and was blown away by the quality of the food. The nachos tasted homemade and were huge. The fresh bread was divine. The pie was perfect and the gravy was easily the best I have ever tasted. Has a few disappointing meals here before but they must have a new chef as this food was 5* quality at pub prices. Honestly amazing.
Very old large Tetley pub. Lots of rooms off the bar. For food, music and just a drink. Outdoor seating. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon. But I believe it's very lively at the weekends.Food: 5/5
Cracking find. Stayed at a hotel locally for work, amazing pint of Timmy Taylor Landlord and the signature burger was bang on. Good priced food for the portion and very tasty. Tuesdays is “Tappy Tuesday” so 20% off cask ale which I took full advantage of! Proper old school “boozer” feel, multiple rooms polished brass and lovely old school decor. Would definitely visit again! No food photo it wasn’t there long enough!!

Brilliant pub with the loveliest staff. Last pub visit of the day and it was one of the best. The lady with her hair up in the bun was just so kind and nice. A beautiful pint of peroni at a reasonable price in a cosy, friendly and welcoming establishment. What more could anyone ask for after a day on their feet before getting the train home? It's a bit of a walk from the city but it's a nice walk all the same! I wouldn't hesitate to return to the Adelphi when I'm in Leeds next!
Served by molly today, absolute star from start to finish; made us feel very welcome! Also asked for my ID even though I’m 40, made me feel so young! Will definitely come again with service like that.Food: 5/5
Ideal place for a Christmas meal, especially for a group booking. The food is exceptionally well-prepared, the staff are efficient and very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The Adelphi also caters for Vegetarian and Vegan diners as well as providing safety advice regarding allergies. For those who enjoy a bevvy, the Adelphi also offers a wide range of quality ales and drinks at competitive prices. I went for the Carnivore option, with a delightful soup starter, a truly delicious steak and chips and a very tasty apple and blackcurrant crumble with custard, from their Festive Menu. Recommended.
