Story

The Shed Bar opened its doors in December 2008. The whole concept is the brainchild of Matthew Jones and Richard Hawley, best friends from their schooldays, taking their previous bar experiences to Leeds City Centre for the first time.
The Shed Bar is a feel-good venue, providing beautiful wood surroundings under a captivating railway arch, with an electric atmosphere provided by the fabulous array of modern rock and indie songs blended with classic rock ‘n’ roll.
The variety of drinks is exceptional, with a huge range of spirits, including a rare malt Scotch Whisky selection, world Beers and Cocktails, there really is something for everyone!
The Shed Bar has a unique personality, exposed brickwork and dark wood are a predominant part of the theme, the natural acoustics add an awesome effect to the already incredible sound and see the ripples in your glass as trains rumble by overhead.
We would like to offer our appreciation to everyone that has supported us through our first seven years. Here's to many more.
We are open 5 days a week, tuesday through saturday, from 4pm 'til very late.

A very pleasant place off down the steps near just running along the railway arches it’s just on the way to fibre but it’s on route to hospital or from hospital it’s a very pleasant spot just tucked off the main drag it’s ideal if you’re on a tour of Leeds & don’t want to visit the usual spots has this is different away from all the hussle n bustle of city life plus they do a good pint of Guinness the service was pleasant I would recommend if you fancy some where different plus funky vibes to the place .
Surprisingly quiet when visited. Music is fantastic and reasonably priced drinks, what more can you ask for. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Leeds Service: 5/5
Really decent bar. I enjoyed the music, it wasn't packed and even though one of our group was a gold level tw@t, the staff were still really good to us.Service: 5/5
