I started going to acupuncture with Marisa in July 2021 for fertility before going into my 3rd round of IVF. I loved every second of it and continued to go twice a week until my transfer then went once a week. I'm now 10 weeks pregnant! Acupuncture was amazing, relaxing and I truly believe it made a different in my fertility journey. Along the way, Marisa helped with stress, bloating, cramping and even congestion! I can't wait to go to her for aches and pains when needed! All the staff are friendly and the environment is very clean and peaceful!
This is the best place! They have absolutely saved me from my menstrual cramping. I used to get sick every month to the point of fainting and vomiting. Every month since I started coming here has been better than the month before that. I couldn’t be happier with the results- NOTHING worked before going here. On top of that they are both professional and so kind! I never write reviews but they have legitimately changed my life and I am forever grateful.
The Acupuncture Place is the best! Marisa and Kristen really care about their patients. They are warm and inviting and remember you as "you" and not just simply as a patient. I started going to The Acupuncture Place to manage stress and for the benefits acupuncture has on pregnancy. I can truly say I cannot go a week without acupuncture. Every session Marisa and Kristen ask you how you are feeling and adjust the points based on the week you are having lower back pain, stress, sinus pressure, etc. I am so thankful I found acupuncture but more important The Acupuncture Place. I promise you will not regret coming to the Acupuncture Place!
I have been going to The Accupuncture place for a year now. My experience has been nothing but the best. Marisa is so professional and caring. She puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows. I was seeing Marisa for fertility purposes and she worked with me on a individualized plan that would work best for me. After experiencing failed fertility treatments, I was able to conceive naturally under the care of Marisa! I am so thankful for her and how she continued to care and be a support to me walking through this journey. I highly recommend The Accupuncture place!

There are not enough great things I could say about Marisa and how she runs her business! Not only is the environment clean and inviting, Marisa is so incredibly knowledgeable and invested in each of her clients Heath journeys. She has come through for me twice now when I didn’t know where else to turn. The first time was when I was having nerve issues and acupuncture was the last thing I tried after a year of other failed attempts, even medication! I had finally found something that worked and helped me finally heal! After that I continued to see Marisa sporadically for neck and back pain. So one day, when I shared with her that I was experiencing some reproductive challenges and had two miscarriages, she told me she could help. I am beyond happy to say that with a few weeks of treatments with Marisa I got pregnant and stayed pregnant and am due with my second healthy baby girl any day now! I know that Marisa’s assistance helped me along my fertility journey and I advise anyone who is experiencing the same things that I was to go see her ASAP!
Marissa is a master at her profession. Is very pleasant and shows so much care for her patients. I have been a patient over a year and so happy to have found her. I have an old back injury that at times didn't let me sleep or move my neck. This has been an extraordinary experience for my stress as well. Since getting my acupuncture and cupping treatments I am now able to exercise again and sleep better. I definitely recommend The Acupuncture Place if your looking for treatment with a provider that cares about your well being and its also a very clean comfortable setting.
I started going to the Acupuncture Place after reading the great reviews and I am so happy I did. Marisa has been a life saver throughout a difficult pregnancy, treating me for a pinched nerve and nerve pain, bronchitis, and you name what else. She is awesome and I would highly recommend her especially to folks who are new to acupuncture, as her gentle and caring manner makes her great to work with.
I’ve had several experiences in acupuncture treatments throughout the years- some good and some not so good. When I found The Acupuncture Place, I was just looking for a nearby place to begin treatment yet again. What I found was life changing. From my initial visit with Marisa I knew that she cared deeply about her patients. She took time to get to know EVERYTHING I was coming in with. Her patience and passion is a pleasantly unique combination. Each week she asks me how I’m feeling and genuinely cares. She offers bits of information that I hadn’t ever heard in years of seeing specialists. It’s like she just KNOWS how to tweak each treatment effectively. I have been seeing her every week for 6 months and I tell EVERYBODY about her. Seriously. My past experiences pale in comparison to the progress I have made with Marisa. If you are looking for an acupuncturist that is kind, caring, clean and knowledgeable then you’ve found her at The Acupuncture Place!
I started seeing Marisa last year to manage my endometriosis pain and help with my energy levels during my monthly cycle. There has been a big and dramatic improvement since I have started Acupuncture with Marisa! The pain has resolved and my energy levels have been so much better since I have regularly gone to acupuncture on a bi-weekly basis. I have also struggled with environmental allergies, and have had such amazing results with allergy relief as well! I highly recommend Marisa! She is very professional, thorough; and her integrative approach has helped me achieve balance in my overall health and well being.
