From the first phone call I made to enquire if Thames Valley Carpet & Flooring could assist me with my problem they understood my needs better than I did. They didn’t think it’s a too small job to do, they gave me a great deal and were incredibly efficient. It was almost worth having the carpet stained to experience this level of customer service and efficiency. Thank you so much!
The guys are super friendly and helpful. They have bent over backwards to make sure I am happy. I chose an LVT from downstairs and a carpet for upstair. I love my new floors, but the process was not without issues largely outside of the team's control, which I appreciate, so I had to knock off one star. I would still recommend this local company, the quality of products and personal service is really worth a look above the usual big flooring chains
I called this company asking them to fit carpet that was taken up by my builders and to re-fit it upstairs. They asked me for measurements rough for which I provided. They promised me that they would call me back with an indication of price which they did, within half an hour or so, they gave me a price which seemed reasonable. The downfall is that they asked me for full payment upfront, which they say is their standard way of doing business. The only thing they had to provide in terms of materials were grippers. I therefore decided not to use them and I would STRONGLY urge anyone that are getting services done like this, not to pay everything upfront. Why would you pay 100% for something that you haven't even had fitted? I have called other businesses and this is far from normal. Don't risk it, go somewhere else, even if you have to pay a little bit more ONCE THE JOB IS DONE!
First class service at a competitive price. Sean was very helpful and efficient. The two fitters were quick, charming and left the house very tidy. They even filled in holes in the floor and around the edges of the room. I would recommend them and we’ll be using them in future. Thanks for a job well done.
Was looking for a vinyl floor for a new bathroom and TVCF had a better choice and prices than anywhere else I'd looked. About a week after order a *really* good fitter showed up and did an amazing job, giving a superb finish to the room. Happy to support this local business and will buy again when I next need flooring
