Went for anniversary meal last Sunday night. Ordered the Thai style calamari to start and it came out very overcooked. The calamari was like rubber. Neither of us could eat it. We were offered to have a fresh batch made which we accepted but that was the same too. I came to the conclusion that the squid wasn't fresh otherwise it wouldn't have been like bathroom caulking. Also, the beer wasn't cold, not even cool really. Another table sent theirs all back and went onto soft drinks. I will say the mains were very good but they lost another star for not apologising for the starters. Not a single apologetic word from the waitress. Shame because I used to love that place. I'm now reluctant to go back.
