Would give 6 stars if I could Ordered a Donna Kebab and Mexican Burger Meal. Food was very reasonably priced, generous portions and tasty. Chips were spiced which just added to the enjoyment of the meal. Food was hot and not dripping in fat. Really enjoyed it, in fact was very disappointed I could not eat everything, would definitely recommend and have since been back and the food was to the same quality!!
Not the best meal or service, normally Mario’s is great however, last night fell well below par. Ordered through their app, no indication of delivery time and asked in the comments for the delivery driver to call me when they left the restaurant. Did however find a count down timer, was on 16 mins 57 seconds when I received an abrupt call to find out where I was!! Informed the driver I would be 5 mins and just told told “hurry…..hurry…..hurry”. Food, I had a Mexican burger meal and the wife a pizza. Food was pretty top notch, unfortunately the coleslaw that cost me £2.20 was just mayonnaise soup with bits of carrot, was not very nice!!! It’s a shame as the core meals were 10/10, just lack of attention to detail on the mayonnaise, poor service and lack of communication knocked the score down. Will go back back again as I like the food, but will collect.
An OK place for a burger after leaving the pub on the 3-4 times I've been before. The wolly that served me tonight's just wrecked it though. Didn't know their own menu, ordering what they call a 'cheddar burger' was met with a blank face. Tried to over charge me by £1 for a burger that's already 4.50, and looked bemused when I pointed it out. More concerned with what they had on the TV and whatever he was doing on his phone. Asked if I wanted tomato sauce, I said 'a little' and he stood there and drowned it. Enough that it got a look from the other chap behind the counter with him-the only reason I've given more than 1 star for atmosphere. At least one of them wasn't a prat. 3/4 of it went in a bin on my walk home Shouldn't it be easy to get a reasonably edible cheese burger? Unlikely to bother again.
Wow we bought the pizza just now and its absolutely bindblowing..shocking!! We bought the bbq chicken one. Worth the money!!
Ordered from here a few weeks ago, placed order online, food was delivered approx 45-50 mins later which was fine. Our food order was incorrect so I called to ask if we could have the correct order delivered, to be met with an attitude from the call taker & was asked “well does the person have an allergy to the incorrect order?” Then they told me it’d be another hour as they don’t have any delivery drivers available. Said they’d call me back once they’d spoken to their manager about me collecting the correct order but didn’t hear back for half an hour, so I called back and was told again that someone would deliver within the hour. Food was ok once we got the correct order, partners kebab wrap was extremely greasy however. Will stick to Pizza Delight in future - much better food and service.
Bought takeaway French fries and golden crispy fried chicken with garlic sauce. Delicious!! Excellent very friendly service. Would definitely go again. Recommendable.
I have ordered from Mario's for 6+ years and they have always had my address ready and delivered quickly to Caythorpe. Sadly, tonight, they refused to come, a member of staff saying he'd worked there 2 years and never delivered to us. We were extremely disappointed as we've always loved their food, especiallythe spicy chips. Lost a customer. What a shame.
Food was late and was cold when it arrived.. Was missing a portion of chips which took 5 phone calls and over a hour for it too arrive.. Which left my 7 years old son starving.. On the phone they was ride and hung up on me twice like I was in the wrong.. They use too be good back in the day but now they are shocking £30 ill never get back.. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN
Burger wasn't the one I ordered,rest of food was poor,not going back again.
Mario's has been my go to place since it opened, friendly staff always, very affordable food with great food combo deals. Recomend Mario's to anyone.
