Story

A warm welcome to Thaal restaurant in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Our family run restaurant prides itself on standing out from the crowd and providing a truly unique Indian dining experience. Our décor is beautiful, contemporary and luxurious and all of our fresh ingredients are locally sourced from a hand picked selection of small farms and traders with the emphasis on quality.

These local ingredients are combined with the best quality imported spices and our years of expertise in Indian cooking to provide an eclectic mix of amazing dishes for you to choose from - as well as your typical classics we also have a wide selection of dishes you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. Even if your taste is for the more traditional and common dishes you can expect to have them prepared and presented in our own way - such as our biryanis which are flambéed at your table.

We are fully licensed and our well socked bar offers a great selection of beers, wines and spirits for you to enjoy throughout your meal and our restaurant has several dining areas which makes us a great choice if you are a larger group celebrating a special occasion as we are able to give you an area of the restaurant exclusively to celebrate your event.

Thank you for first class food and service. We love this restaurant. The manager and staff treat their customers like family. Smashing.
Love this place. The food is different to your average curry house but it's still fantastic. Don't be afraid to venture off your normal dish and try some of their different dishes. The staff are so smartly dressed and their service is second to none.
The food was delicious, we are stuck in due to covid and had this delivered. Everything was so fresh and generous amounts of portions.
Eaten here about half a dozen times now and really enjoyed it every single time. The food is very tasty, meat succulent and the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. This has been my go to curry place for a couple of years now.
I had the prawns, Andrea had Chicken. Last time it was excellent, which is why we came back, but the chicken was not as good this time, a bit dry. Prawns made up for it. Was very good.
Excellent food and friendly staff. Really accommodating with our baby and happily brought us a highchair. Definitely recommend and can't wait to return
