Visited TGI Fridays last night for the first time. We must say we were a bit worried prior to visiting due to couple reviews. Thankfully We can say with 100% certainty that we had a lovely time. Phoebe was taking care of us and had a lovely smile through the whole time. All food tasted amazing and it was definitely hot! I will agree that it is a bit pricey but we weren’t disappointed.
Love this place the food is so good. We had their steak and pork ribs which were awesome, along with their Jack Daniel sauce kind of their exclusive and is a next level stuff right there. Cocktails were awesome too. Their hospitality was pretty damn good and all of them were very friendly and kind.
Firstly, I need to say a massive thank you to the staff at TGI Fridays. My daughter was beyond exhausted and fell asleep in the restaurant. I was half expecting to be kicked out but no, they checked on me and her repeatedly, filling my drink up if needed and asking if I needed anything. Honestly, the two staff in particular was brilliant. The food was nice, as a single mum, eating a meal hot is a rarity. Desert was AMAZING. Honestly. Couldn't fault the restaurant
Would of had better service and food in spoons. It was fairly quiet and it took a long time for someone to take our order for food and drinks after we were seated. Around 10-15 minutes after we ordered our drinks came and then it took around another half an hour for our food to arrive even though we could see two of our meals had been sat under the hot plate for at least 15 minutes. Staff not very attentive at all. Food was cold. Philly steak sandwich had around 4 slithers of very thinly cut steak, half of which was cold. Chips cold. Not worth £15.50 each!! I could have had a better meal in whetherspoons. Told the waitress politely about our issues and she said she would get the manager who never actually came to see or speak to us, not that I'm surprised. I do not recommend.
Very bad experience. They do not respect allergies. Well the waiter most certainly didn't. We informed him of our allergy before ordering and he ended up giving us false information and we only found that out due to doing our own research and speaking to another member of staff because we did not trust him. The nachos were very poor. Not good value for money. Spoken to with disrespect and ignored multiple times by our waiter. At the end of the day if someone has an ellergy they're not doing it to be difficult. It is if anything more difficult for that person having to live with it. I wanted to give 2 stars because the drinks were quite nice but due to the service and the allergy situation I can't offer any more than one. If you want a pleasant meal, worth your money and kind service. Do not go here.
We went to TGI Friday's last Saturday lunchtime. A table of 2. It wasn't overly busy for 12.30pm, we got welcomed by a very unenthusiastic person at reception, who absolutely ages to talk to us. The food was okay! It wasn't anything special and what I felt was overpriced for what it was. Portions are quite small. I had a diet coke which tasted funny, to which the lady took it away and started drinking out of the cup?! Surely they could of just taken my word!! Overall not a great visit!
Arrived promptly for my reservation and was ignored by ALL staff while waiting to be seated. Four members of staff walked past and didn’t even acknowledge me. I waited over 10 minutes. One saw me and then turned their back on me! VERY RUDE!!! The restaurant was barely 10% full so not even busy to warrant being ignored. If this was the service before I was even seated, I dare to think what it would have been like if I stayed to find out! I took my money and custom elsewhere. I wont be attempting to go back here ever again. Minus 10 stars from me.
Only a short wait for a table for 2 amazing cocktails, the food was okay, but there were a lot of 'happy birthdays' while we were there, however luckily it is fairly short when they do this. Will go again.
The food here never disappoints, from the appetisers to the mains, I was satisfied with how good it all was and the chips are one of the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend coming here
Lovely dining experience, staff were friendly. They were out of a few menu items, also the pink gin for my Instastoli cocktail but they offered to use blood orange gin instead :
