- Click & collect point is not sign posted until you happen to drive down the correct row in the car park and see the signs. They also ask you to reverse up to the signs and then scan the QR code to let them know you’ve arrived, except that once you’ve reversed up to it, you can no longer see the sign because the car is backed right up to it.n- scan as you shop tills are also not sign posted.n- this is the only Tesco I’ve been to in the area where you need a coin for the trolleys.n- there are only 6 parent & child parking spaces at this “superstore,” which is nowhere close to enough.n- the store itself is very small for a “superstore,” and the plastic stackable crates left in the aisles make it difficult to maneuver around people 4 PM on a Tuesday.n- smaller selection on most food things than an actual superstore.n- bakery goods specifically the chocolate twist were stale and hard.
This Tesco is awful because of the staff they are unhelpful miserable and have no customer service skills I went in because I had a voucher will not be returning
Used the self scan checkout and forgot to scan a bottle of vegetable oil £1. The blonde woman at the self checkout 6pm 29sep came over and scanned my basket again 15 items she didn’t look at me once and left all my products out of the basket scattered around. Surprised and feeling guilty I didn’t scan the oil, I asked “was it just the oil I didn’t scan?” It was She ignored me and finished with the machine. I raised my voice and asked again “was it just the oil missing?” - she turned to walk away and I asked a third time and she didn’t reply or acknowledge me once. My tone was friendly throughout. I do not need to steal a £1 product - it was obviously an accident. Staff should be trained better and she should be told how to treat customers.
Store as a whole good with good selection. However prices are often wrong, product often not in correct place, website often says products in stock but many time not out in the store, self service staff 9 times out of 10 are useless as most are standing around chatting to other staff instead of listening to tills that need assistancethe younger staff on self service however do bother to do their job and are often very helpful and quick, floor staff often pushing past customers, stock rotation for dates doesn't see to exist, spillages I've seen are often not cleaned and instead just have wet floor sign, shelves are never faced neatly.
Love the new 1 quid trolley hire. Too many locals abandoning trolleys in car bays.nnThe only ATM in town, so all good.nnDoesn't have a lot of variety inside the store. The vege and vegan foods keep moving around the the selection is a lot slimmer than other stores. Often with vouchers and coupons, they don't stock the item so you can't get it, making it impossible to redeem.nnCar parking is not bad, they have a great spread making a minimum distance between cars
